Two old friends, a seasoned leather craftsman and a software developer reconnected after COVID in 2022. Casual conversations at dinner ensued.
One happened to be about a recent purchase of an expensive leather mat by the developer. Although it was a spectacular addition to his home office, the said mat became severely warped and damaged, becoming virtually unusable within only a few weeks.

The mat has quality weaved into it and as someone who loves using large mousepads I have been extremely satisfied with this one. I love the way it feels and its consistency is fantastic. Even if I get a little sweaty on a hot day I don’t find the mat gets sticky, stain with water, or on the flip side get too cold! It’s an impressive piece and I’m excited to have added it to my home office. I have the large black matte leather desk pad, and got her the smaller brown desk pad. I spend about 8-9 hours a day at my home office desk working or playing video games, so I like to use products that feel good, look sexy, and last. This mat covers all those bases.
